What they are
Nicotine salt is a different way of extracting nicotine. At the same strength it gives you hardly any throat hit compared to normal (freebase) nicotine, and it gets into your system faster, closer to how a cigarette behaves. That's why disposables all use it.
Who they suit
- Anyone coming off cigarettes or disposables. A 20mg nic salt in a little pod kit is the closest feel to what you're used to.
- Low-wattage kits. Salts shine in small pod systems, you don't need a big cloudy mod.
- Anyone who finds high-strength freebase too harsh. Same nicotine, far less throat tickle.
The maths that matters
A disposable gives you about 2ml of liquid. A 10ml bottle of nic salt here is £2.50. That's five disposables' worth of liquid for less than the price of one, and nothing goes in the bin. Pair it with a pod kit and you're quids in within a fortnight.
10mg or 20mg?
If you're on disposables or were on 20 a day, start at 20mg and drop down when it feels easy. If you're a social or light smoker, 10mg is usually plenty.
