What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file that a website saves on your device when you visit it. Cookies do lots of useful things — they let websites remember your preferences, keep you logged in, or remember what is in your shopping cart. Some are essential to making the site work; others are optional and we only use them with your consent.
How we manage cookies
We use the CookieYes consent platform to give you control. The first time you visit, a cookie banner appears asking what you are happy with. You can change your mind at any time using the Cookie Settings link in the footer.
Categories of cookie we use
- Strictly necessary — these make the site work. They include WooCommerce session cookies, the cart, login state, the age-confirmation cookie (so you don’t get asked every page) and the cookie-consent record itself. These do not require your consent and cannot be turned off.
- Functional — remember preferences such as language, region or display settings. Optional.
- Performance / analytics — help us understand which pages are popular and where visitors come from, so we can improve the site. We use Google Analytics via Site Kit. Optional, off until you accept.
- Marketing — we do not currently run any marketing or advertising cookies. If we add any, the consent banner will list them and they will be off by default.

Third-party cookies
Some cookies are set by services we use rather than by us directly. The main ones are:
- Google (Analytics, Search Console via Site Kit) — anonymised analytics about how the site is used.
- Viva Wallet — may set cookies during the checkout process to help complete your payment securely.
- YouTube / Vimeo — if any pages embed videos in future, those services may set their own cookies. None embedded today.

Browser controls
